Dynasty Owners! As the Dynasty Owner season winds down so does the list of players who can help your roster win. A quick reminder to those of you transitioning to a rebuild, pick up players like the first one listed below and try to trade them for future draft picks. During last season, I was able to flip one of the free agents I picked up along with Tyler Huntley ($895,000) in return for a second round rookie draft pick that turned into George Pickens ($1,688,045).

A quick recap of the wild Week 10 before we officially transition to Week 11. The big story from Week 10 was the game that is fresh in everyone’s memory, the Commanders beating the Eagles. Steve and I talked about the potential trap this game could become if the Commanders hung around and it turned out to be exactly that. The next team I would like to touch on is the reigning, defending champions of the NFL, the Los Angeles Rams, and the fact they may need an epic run to close the season if they want to even sniff the playoffs. Another game that added to the mayhem that has been 2022 was the Dallas Cowboys versus the Green Bay Packers. The Packers were on a 5-game skid only to come out and beat a tough Dallas squad. The last game I will cover this week is the insane game that played out in Buffalo. The Vikings and the Bills played what will likely be the Game of the Year and if you haven’t seen it yet, I will not spoil it. Do yourself a favor and watch the YouTube highlights, unless you are a Bills’ fan who somehow has not seen the game then I would probably stay away.

Let’s dive into it. The players listed below are in no order and are less than 85% rostered in Dynasty Owner with a salary of $8,000,000 or less.

  1. Colt McCoy (QB – ARI) – 2 years/$3,750,000 – 10.64% Rostered

When doing my research for this article, I was shocked to find out that McCoy was only 10.64% rostered on the Dynasty Owner platform. I was not shocked because he is a highly talented quarterback, I was shocked because McCoy is a cheap handcuff option who has filled in for Kyler Murray several times and tends to play well. Since the start of the 2021 season, McCoy has started four games and has scored 17.3 Dynasty Owner fantasy points or more in three of them. McCoy does have games where he struggles, but as a Bench option, it will not hurt much. McCoy was back under center this past week and posted a respectable stat line in a win, completing 26 of his 37 passes for 238 yards and 1 touchdown plus 4 rushing yards and a fumble, good enough for 17.3 Dynasty Owner fantasy points.

  • Nick Westbrook-Ikhine (WR – TEN) – 1 year/$895,000 – 76.6% Rostered

I must say that despite his huge week in Week 10 I was hesitant to put him on the list. To be honest, if there were better options I wouldn’t have though he may be a better bet than a few on the list. Westbrook-Ikhine absolutely exploded against a good Broncos defense finishing the game with 5 catches for 119 yards and 2 touchdowns. You would think after a week like that I would be excited to have him on here but after burning me a couple times in 2021, I am not so fast to trust him after one big game. The one big factor Westbrook-Ikhine has going in his favor is how much the rest of the Titans’ receivers have struggled. I mean someone has to catch the ball on Sundays. Right?

  • Kylen Granson (TE – IND) – 3 years/1,046,592 – 84.26% Rostered

Well folks this may be my favorite free agent write up ever! The darling of Dynasty Owner in 2021, Kylen Granson finally had a good game that he can look to build upon. Typically, I would write this off as an exploited matchup until it happened more than once, but with a new coach in town there is a real chance Granson looked good in practice, earned the job, and then performed on Sunday. I am not certain that this is the case but for a few million Dynasty Dollars and a dirt-cheap salary, I am willing to find out. Another major plus working in Granson’s favor is the fact Matt Ryan ($30,000,000) is back under center in Indianapolis.

  • Julio Jones (WR – TB) – 1 year/$6,000,000 – 63.83% Rostered

In the fourth spot on this week’s list, we have a blast from the past, Julio Jones. It feels incredibly weird placing a legend like Julio Jones on a list like this but that is life in the NFL and Dynasty Owner only highlights that. Last week, Steve and I talked about the Buccaneers Week 9 last second win becoming a turning point for the season and they got off to a great start against a solid Seattle team. Julio was able to grab 3 passes for 53 yards and an electric touchdown where he showed off some of the athleticism he has left. Will he build on his Week 10 performance? I have no idea, but it was a ton of fun to watch and write about. Pick up Julio at your own risk!

  • Zay Jones (WR – JAX) – 3 years/$8,000,000 – 64.26% Rostered

Before I start, I have to promise all of you that I am not some Zay Jones closet sleeper. Jones appearing on this list several times this season is a product of the smart Dynasty Owners we have playing here who keep the Free Agent Auction extremely limited paired with the fact he has actually scored a few points in 2022. Zay Jones is currently the 38th ranked receiver in Dynasty Owner and if it weren’t for his $8,000,000 salary, he would likely be rostered in most leagues, if not all. In Week 10, Jones had a good performance finishing with 8 catches for 68 yards. Should Jones start to produce in the red zone in the back half of the season, there is a real possibility he will finish inside the top 36 receivers for the year. A statement many would have laughed at in the off-season, including myself.

Don’t Forget About

  • Deshaun Watson (QB – CLE) – 5 years/$46,000,000 – 45.53% Rostered

While I have my reservations about the return of Deshaun Watson, I believe there are more than a couple Dynasty Owners out there who should probably take a serious look at the controversial quarterback. The Dynasty Owners I am thinking of are those who roster quarterbacks in the salary range of Jared Goff ($33,500,000) and Ryan Tannehill ($29,500,000) as well as rostering a player like Allen Robinson ($15,500,000), Brandin Cooks ($16,200,000), or Michael Thomas ($19,250,000). Is it a real possibility Watson struggles after nearly two years away from football? Absolutely, but if he is able to regain form there are zero questions about his talent. In one more week when Watson returns, it will be one of the most watched stories the NFL has had in recent memory.
